Johanna Nesse, FNP, works with children, teenagers, and adults as a part-time provider in the Remote Allergy clinic. In her practice, Johanna believes patient education is incredibly important, especially when it comes to empowering parents to better care for themselves, their children, and their families as a whole. Johanna became an FNP in 2011, after attending the University of Colorado for both her Bachelors of Science in Nursing and Masters of Science in Nursing. In 2012, Johanna chose to return to The Gorge, where she spent her early childhood years. Today, Johanna lives in Hood River with her husband, their dog, Hoshi, and their cat, Sigmund. Johanna enjoys playing music and going to shows in Portland, as well as traveling, running, and spending time with her friends.
Jonathan Soffer, ANP, moved to Hood River from Atlanta, Georgia after completing his Nurse Practitioner education at Emory University. Jonathan works part time at Remote Allergy Providers, and also provides primary care and occupational health services for a hospital in The Dalles. Jonathan works hard to treat the root cause of his patients’ health concerns, and sees the life-changing power of treating long-standing illness with immunotherapy, immunology, and management of asthma. Outside of his work, Jonathan enjoys living in The Gorge with his wife, traveling to warm weather destinations, taking photographs, and watching – as well as playing – baseball.
